Three Year Development Plan

 

First Year

During my first year of studying, I look to begin my journey to pursue a professional career in Dance, which is to include both performing and teaching. I look to start this process, by studying on a BA Hons Dance course (three years) at University, or a Dance Studies course at a Vocational school. During my first year of study, I would like to familiarise myself with the needed skills and techniques to achieve my goal in being a performer and eventually a choreographer/teacher. In addition to this, I will continue my physical training, to maintain a healthy lifestyle as well as bettering my technique in all genres of Dance.

 

Second Year 

I look to continue my studies at University/Vocational School, gaining more experience within the Dance industry.

I will be actively looking for dance opportunities such as auditions, open workshops and paid work. I will continue to improve my technique in all genres of dance. 

 

Third Year

My final year, will consist of finding work within the dance industry, preferrably performing, so I can gain experience for in this sector of performing arts. I would like to begin my journey teaching, as well as workng professionally with others (dancers, choreographers) in the UK and abroad.
